The internal seminar on research conclusions for use by emergency services took place online. The seminar was organised in conjunction with one of HyTunnel-CS meetings and involved participation of the relevant SAB members. The seminar has reviewed the project research results and their application to intervention strategies and tactics. The results of theoretical, numerical and experimental studies has been thoroughly discussed to adapt them in practice of emergency services. Conclusions of the “international workshop of emergency services” held on 7-8 May 2020 at the International Fire Academy facilities in Balsthal, Switzerland, have been merged with the knowledge generated during the HyTunnel-CS pre-normative research to derive knowledge-based recommendations for emergency services on how to deal with hydrogen accidents in different underground facilities. The relevant results of the internal seminar on research conclusions for use by emergency services is a part of D5.4 “Harmonised recommendations on response to hydrogen accidents”.
