Internal seminar on research conclusions for use by emergency services

Date: September 2021 (exact dates will be provided after ICHS 2021 dates determination)

Venue: Health and Safety Executive, Buxton, United Kingdom

The internal seminar on research conclusions for use by emergency services will take place at HSE facilities in Buxton, UK. The seminar will be organised in conjunction with one of HyTunnel-CS meetings and will involve participation of the relevant SAB members. The seminar will review the project research results and their application to intervention strategies and tactics. The results of theoretical, numerical and experimental studies will be thoroughly discussed to adapt them in practice of emergency services. Conclusions of the “international workshop of emergency services” held on 7-8 May 2020 at the International Fire Academy facilities in Balsthal, Switzerland, will be merged with the knowledge generated during the HyTunnel-CS pre-normative research to derive knowledge-based recommendations for emergency services on how to deal with hydrogen accidents in different underground facilities. The relevant results of the internal seminar on research conclusions for use by emergency services will be a part of D5.4 “Harmonised recommendations on response to hydrogen accidents”.
